Marama Cottages offer two unique accommodations – Moana and Luna on one newly renovated section and are available to rent individually or can be combined to accommodate a larger group of up to 6 adults maximum.

Located in the heart of Surfdale with outstanding views over the water – this is the perfect location for a family holiday on Waiheke – walking distance to local beaches, off street parking for up to 2 vehicles and close proximity to the regular bus services that run through the island. Close to local grocery shops, bars and bakeries but set back off the road in a quiet side-street.

Moana Cottage is a newly renovated 1950s bach oozing with character and charm. Original hardwood floors and panelled ceilings are complimented by a modern kitchen and bathroom, high speed internet and smart TV. The perfect combination of old-world charm and modern convenience.

Upstairs is open plan living. You will find the master bedroom area with king size bed, an open plan kitchen/dining, a spacious bathroom with large shower and a large laundry room which could also work as a nursery space – portacots can be provided for an additional fee. Downstairs you will find a large newly carpeted bedroom complete with two single beds that can be configured as a second king-sized bed. The perfect quiet space for the kids to sleep whilst the adults enjoy the amenities upstairs.

The kitchen is complete with a full size oven and hob, microwave, kettle and Nespresso machine, giving you everything you need to cook up a storm. A Webber gas-bbq is also provided for outdoor dining. The highlight of the property is the fabulous deck with expansive views over the ocean – this is a wonderful place to relax in the sun, enjoy family meals or catch up with friends.

Luna Cottage is a brand-new luxury apartment located at the top of the section. Complete with a state-of-the-art kitchen, deck and spectacular views this is an idea spot for a couple’s getaway or young family holiday.  The space is open plan, with a king-sized bedroom, dining and kitchen area all on one level. There is a family sized bathroom with shower and a small additional bedroom setup for two children or infants. The beds are all brand-new and complete with luxury linens.

The full-size ranch sliders open from the bedroom area onto a large deck with stunning views over the water. Outside there is a BBQ and outdoor furniture for al fresco dining and relaxing.

There is off-street parking available at the top of the driveway.

A welcome pack is provided to every guest which includes luxury teas, coffees and hot drinks, and basic pantry items to get you started.  The property is supplied with luxury linens and bathroom amenities – including Forest & Bird Shower Gel and Conditioning Shampoo.
