Waiheke Unlimited  was established  in the mid 90's when its founder, Edward Coutts, revisited  the Island after an absence from New Zealand of some 20 odd years overseas.

He saw that the magic this Island offered would be of interest to a greater world market, and felt that such a beautiful Island, only 35 minutes from the busy metropolis of Auckland, was an idyllic location for holiday accommodation, along with corporate and private events.

Waiheke Unlimited was then created offering, professional and personalised service to cater for the ever expanding needs of the inbound tourist.

Then through the successful corporate events and activities it was only a short time before corporate executives also expressed an interest in coming to the Island to holiday. Their needs were greater than what was then currently being offered on the Island, therefore Waiheke Unlimited set up a quality portfolio of, luxury and executive holiday accommodation to satisfy their requests.

Again it was not long before our clients requested personal leisure activities - fishing, boating, tours, sightseeing, private parties, weddings and the likes, hence Waiheke Unlimited  quickly became the "one stop shop" for experiencing Waiheke Island and all the pleasures it holds.

Due to the sucess of Waiheke Unlimited and the constant requests from clients wishing to see more of New Zealand we expanded the locations of our properties to include luxury self catered accommodation in Queenstown, in the South Island, and Matakana in the north of the North Island. We have even gone across the Tasman to include a stunning property at Cabarita, in Northern New South Wales Australia. So now we can offer our clients the very best of many locations all under the Waiheke Unlimited umbrella.
