About Waiheke Island

Waiheke is a paradise island only 35 minutes by ferry from downtown Auckland, 45 minutes by car ferry from Half Moon Bay or 7 minutes by helicopter. It boasts over 30 vineyards, fine dining restaurants, approximately 100 beaches, stunning walks, inspiring outlooks and activities on land and throughout the Hauraki Gulf.

It is renowned for its arts culture and home to some of New Zealand’s best artists and at only 19 x 9 kilometres wide, with no traffic lights and only two roundabouts, you’ll be spending your time concentrating on achieving your goals rather than sitting in traffic waiting to get there!

We are a fabulous one-stop shop for P.A.’s and E.A.’s everywhere. With over 13 years of experience, we have the best venues, accommodation, activities, catering, transport, corporate hire equipment and provisioning providers on the island. Our job is to co-ordinate with all these providers on your behalf and take the hassle out of event organising for you.

Waiheke Unlimited’s team of professionals are charged with ensuring that every detail is attended to – this can be either in assisting you, or on a sole charge basis - theme, decor, sound, lighting, entertainment, ambience, transport, dining arrangements, activities, the works.

An amazing high budget event that surpassed the clients wildest dreams. Catering was done by South American chefs. Entertainment was Brazilian dance troup along with musicians.

Catering: Local chefs and local produce.

This company had sold 50% of their company to a large multinational distillery and this was a thank you party for the staff and to introduce the new partner to the team.

The Great Escape Team Challenge
This fun and highly interactive activity is best described as part “Survivor Waiheke” and part “The Amazing Race” and all about working together as a team while having heaps of fun! Using vehicles and armed with digital cameras, teams combine their skills to complete as many challenges as they can within the specified time frame.

Team Tactics
Team Tactics are a variety of interactive team activities and initiatives tailored to suit your business environment and specific needs. They are designed to mirror specific issues or topics that are being covered during your team meeting or simply to energise and motivate your team.

The Wild Woozey
A fun team event that includes 3 or 4 activities conducted in a round-robin style. Included is Archery, Laser clay bird shooting and one or two “Team Tactics” activities.

Wild Blast or Wild Rumble
Part team building, part team development. Both sessions include The Great Escape and a 2 or 3 hour session of ideas generation, introducing your team to the innovation process, team dynamics and behaviours that lead to successful ideas development.

Waka Time Trials
An opportunity to venture out in a traditional Maori Waka, learn the art of paddling and attempt to break the time trial record for paddling between two points at one of Waiheke’s bays.
We can also recommend local business facilitators who can lead teams through workshops and business development challenges, providing independent event management and leadership.

Our in house chefs pride themselves in producing culinary taste sensations from the freshest seasonal ingredients on offer.

We can offer a variety of menus, chefs and prices to suit most occasions but are always willing to create unique menus to complement your event.

Our caterers are passionate about food - sourcing only the freshest and finest ingredients and drawing on local and international trends for inspiration.
