This fabulous rural designer holiday home set on acres of working farm land, is situated only metres from its own private beach with a new wharf which makes boating, fishing and kayaking so easy. Apart from the main sandy beach which is lined with beautiful Naked Ladies which flower in February,and two rocky out crops at each point,within which, there are two charming small coves to explore with picturesque rocks and tall pine trees. Swimming and snorkelling are safe at all times.
The beach view is one you can enjoy all day from the modern lounge and from the big front decking. Here you can sit or lie on the elegant sun-beds, enjoy the tranquillity of the location and get away from the hustle of everyday life. The morning sun will join you for your breakfast and help to dry you off from your refreshing early morning swim.
The beach is sheltered and the deep blue water allows access by large boats, should you have one. Even without a boat there is plenty to do. The large rear deck surrounds the swimming pool, just right for a cooling mid morning dip when laziness has set in and the short stroll to the sea is too much. If activity is what you seek then there is a full size tennis court to serve up the action. Just as the sun rises over the front deck, it sets over the rear, nature being so logical. But even after the sun goes down does not mean an end to the outdoor life. On the deck there is a barbecue for al fresco meals and an open fire place to make even cool nights warm and cosy and let you fully enjoy a typical New Zealand lifestyle until you can make it back inside.
Inside The house is modern and stylish. It has a kitchen designed in an Italian fashion with all facilities you may need including multiple fridges and dishwashers to take care of the clean up after the many guests you may have drop in on you. There are 5 double bedrooms (2 can be converted into twin rooms) and two bathrooms. The open plan design allows views from the kitchen through the dining area to the spacious lounge. If you are not dining outside you can choose from the breakfast bar with high stools to the more formal dining table, which easily seats eight people, to enjoy your candlelight dinners. After your superb meal you can retire to the comfort of the large lounge with an open log fire and take advantage of the full home theatre system with Sky TV or look out across the darkening sea into the distance.
And if relaxing is difficult with your teenage children around, there is a separate accommodation, though not to such a high standard but eminently suitable to allow your offspring's a bit of independence. This converted Wool Shed sleeps up to 5 additional guests with a further bathroom and, if the kids want to cook their own meals, a kitchenette.
This extra accommodation is obviously also suitable for larger parties. ( Extra cost applies if Woolshed included).

From Oneroa, the main village on Waiheke, it is a 20 minute scenic drive on empty roads among green rolling hills, passing some of the many vineyards on the island. The drive will give you a taste of the spectacular views you can expect from a holiday on Waiheke. It’s a perfect introduction to a magical break in this beautiful house. The property is best accessible by 4x4 vehicle, because of its steep loose metal driveway or by boat which doesn’t need to be 4X4 as the water is quite flat.
