This fabulous near new designer home boasts 4 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms including a separate childrens room which has 2 sets of double and single bunk beds along with a further single bed. The property is set to cater for up to 13 guests. The childrens room is in a seperate wing and is complete with lounge room including a TV. This is an ideal place for hired help as well as the children.
The home has a very comfortable lounge with fire place which opens out onto a patio with views right down the Gulf. There is a formal dining room seating 8 guests. There is also a family dining room which seats 10. The kitchen is state of the art and very well appointed.
The home also comes with a Gym Pool Table and even a Pin Ball machine.
Kereru Lodge sits on some 12 acres of private landscaped grounds which offers amazing views down the Gulf back towards the City and lights. The property also has a designer swimming pool area which was created by the designer who also created the Sea Lion enclosure at the Auckland Zoo. This area is a major feature of this property and includes the swimming pool, spa pool, water slide and waterfalls. A truly wonderful spot to relax in, whilst watching the world go by.
Kereru Lodge is fine accommodation at its very best.
The property also lends itself to events and functions as there are 2 purpose built terrace venue areas. The 1st Terrace runs off the pool enclosure and is a long flat strip being 8x 30 metres. This is a wonderful space as it flows into the swimming pool enclosure.
The second Terrace is on the lower level from the first one, and is a long flat lawn area of some 12x 40 metres. These two areas work very well with a long marquee or a bunch of large umbrella tables, perfect for weddings.
If you are wanting a classy home which can accommodate a group then this is a wonderful property. However it also works perfectly well for just a couple as the house is well designed and one does not get the feeling that they are in some oversized mansion. This property is a must for those wanting Luxury self catered accommodation on Waiheke Island.
