This impressive property is some 10 acres of beach front headland encompassing several north facing beaches which can be accessed via tracks leading down from the house.. It has extensive manicured grounds including a few Maori kumara pits (where the original Maoris who inhabited Waiheke, used to cook their food)
The main house has a comfortably appointed lounge complete with Sky TV, DVD, CD and a grand piano. Facing north, the spacious open plan area has a wonderful vista over the Hauraki Gulf. All of the rooms in the house open onto the large lawn with views straight out to the sea. There is a King bedroom with ensuite, a queen bedroom and a twin room ( these can be set up as singles or doubles) plus a further bathroom and separate guest toilet.Within the bounds of the property visitors can enjoy walking, exploring, swimming, snorkelling and fishing or venture further to sample fine wines and delicious meals at the many vineyards and restaurants.
The house is casual but well appointed and the kitchen is large and fully equipped, with gas hobs and electric ovens,and all mod cons, perfect for the home chef in you! The Self contained studio unit is within 70 meters from the house, perfect for those guests or friends who you may not want under the same roof. It has a queen bedroom with ensuite, and the open plan living area comes with a wood burning potbelly fireplace and is tastefully furnished. The Sky TV, DVD and CD player is complemented by a large selection of DVDs, CDs and magazines.is comfortably appointed and very peaceful.
There is also a further bedroom in front and beside the main house and this is perfect for others who do not need to be in the main home. It is purely a bedroom which has wonderful views but does not have a bathroom.
Waimarama Estate is within a 10 minute walk from Oneroa Village and 15 minutes from the boat,but by car its only a few minutes to either.The property has fabulous manicured grounds with access to 2 immediate beaches, and Oneroa beach just a 6 minute stroll away, so, many options available for the beach lover in you..
